Cheap flights on KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
KL
KLM in full is Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij which
translated literally means Royal Aviation Company; or in usual English:
Royal Dutch Airlines. KLM is a subsidiary of Air France-KLM. Before
this, KLM was the national airline of the Netherlands. Founded on
October 7, 1919, KLM holds the record for being the oldest carrier
still operating under its original name. The first KLM flight was in
1920, with a flight from London to Amsterdam with two English
journalists and a number of newspapers on board.
All KLM Boeing 777 and Airbus A330 aircraft are equipped with
personal video screens in every seat providing interactive
entertainment - from movies and television to games and e-mail! The
availability of the on-demand video system allows you to choose what
you watch and when you watch it. There are a wide selection of movies,
plus television programming, video games for all ages, and flight
tracking. You can also send text messages to any mobile/cell phone
number or e-mail address anywhere on the planet and receive replies
right at your seat! The interactive controller used for games
and selections can be flipped over to become a telephone. Just swipe
your credit card along the side to speak to anyone, anywhere from your
seat in the air.
